American Dental Hygienists' Association
The American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) was founded in 1923 to develop and foster "communication and mutual cooperation" among dental hygienists. Currently, ADHA is the largest national organization representing the professional interests of over 120,000 registered dental hygienists in America. The American Dental Hygienists' Association's mission is to propel the art and science of dental hygiene and to promote elevated standards of education and practice in the profession. Members of ADHA experience professional support, educational programs and a variety of executive participation opportunities.
